SpeedFlex is used for more than sheet-to-sheet connections. Its liquid application allows installers to address a variety of critical flooring details.
Flooring Seams
Adjacent Eco-Grip flooring sheets are joined with SpeedFlex to create strong, continuous welded connections throughout the floor.
Floor Sinks
SpeedFlex can be used to create a non-penetrating collar around floor sinks, helping finish one of the most critical details in a wet commercial space.
Door Jambs
Liquid application provides installers with flexibility when finishing flooring around door jambs and other difficult transitions.
Chase Lines
SpeedFlex can be incorporated around chase lines, penetrations and exposed flooring edges where precise sealing details are required.

A purpose-built
installation system.
Once the Eco-Grip flooring is glued in place and the adhesive has cured, the seams are grooved, taped and welded with SpeedFlex. The system is designed around a controlled two-pass application that creates a strong, smooth finished connection.
Groove & Tape
After the flooring adhesive has cured, each flat seam is grooved approximately 1/4" wide and to about 90% of the material depth, then masked on both sides with seam tape.
Apply
SpeedFlex is dispensed in a smooth, continuous bead into the prepared seam and worked into place. SpeedFlex has approximately a 4-minute working time once applied.
Cure & Sand
After the first pass, SpeedFlex is allowed approximately 30 minutes to cure and cool. The seam is then lightly sanded to smooth imperfections and prepare it for the final coat.
Second Coat & Finish
A small second bead fills shrinkage and creates a smooth, consistent finish. The seam tape is removed immediately after the final pass and the completed weld is inspected for a flush finish.
